Registration Day 2016

In this registration day, we had recruit 20 new members which is the maximum number of new members we can recruit. All the new members were excited about the first meeting and all the interesting activities that we will be having.

President Xin Ying was explaining the activities of Boys’ Brigade.

AJKs were preparing for the registration.

Youth Camp 2015

Time : 11 December – 14 December 2015

Venue : Stallion Apartment

All members were looking forward to this activity because this is a fun camp and in the camp there were many types of games including water games.

They were gathering at the main hall and the officers were telling the rules and separating the members into groups.

They were discussing the decoration of their flag and sketch preparations.

They were having sketch preparation for their short drama.

Besides games they had courses on stress management, trend and style , boy and girl relationship and life goal.

They had morning exercises every morning

They enjoyed playing water games.

Expedition Badge Course Dec 2015

Venue : Bukit Bendera

This hiking activity had improvde the participants’ camping skills such as setting up a fire and tent. Besides they also learnt how to cook themselves.

Early in the morning the participants were gathering at headquarters.

They were on their way to Bukit Bendera.

They were at botanical garden. ( on their way back to headquarters )

First Aid Course Dec 2015

Venue : St. John Headquarter

Date : 27 November & 30 November

This course is mainly about what we need to do when when there is an urgent situation around us. All participants had learned many ways to save people.

Members were taught what to do when someone had a chock.

They learned how to apply CPR.

The trainer was demoing about how to do CPR.

Fire Fighting And Rescue course Dec 2015

Time : 25 -26 November 2015

Venue : Paya Terubong

From this course, all participants had learned how to set out the fire and what they need to do when they are facing a fire disaster.

All members can try to set out a fire by their own. This was interesting and all members can learn the right way to set out the fire.

Before trying out, members need to dress up to prevent any problems.

One officer of the station was giving a speech on the theory , all members were listening to that course attentively.

Besides practical activities and there were also theory courses.

JPN Drill Training

This training was organized to polish up our members for next year’s JPN Drill competition. Our members were very excited about this competition. They were also willing to practice drill even during holidays.

All members were listening to president’s commands. Under the guardian of Sergeant, the drill steps of the members became better than the previous training

14/11/2015 Ajk Meeting

Teacher Adviser: Miss Quah Yee Hooi

Teacher adviser , officer , AJKs were discussing what should do on AGM , Recruitment Day on next year , 2016. Beside that ,teacher adviser also give us the new timetables for teacher advisers and teachers’ responsibilities.

Teacher advisor was giving about the new timetables for teacher advisers to the AJKs and discuss with the AJKs about the recruitment day for next year.

AJKs were giving advises to listed some things to do on AGM. For examples introduces teacher advisers, officers and committees members and channels to receives announcement.

AJKs were discussing how many activities in first three month in 2016 and what to do and what must be taught to the new recruits.

1/8/2015 Meeting

Teacher Advisor: Mr Wong Chee Siang

Lance Corporal Ng Rae Yih fall in the members and we sang Anchor Song to start off the meeting.

Some members attended Christian Education badge course which was led by Pastor Liew Ger Wei. For members who already have the badge, they had to attend a meeting with Sir.

Members had physical training after that. They did duck walk and ran on the field. Members played dodge ball and they had a sharing session after playing dodge ball.

Vesper Song were sang before dismissal as usual.

25/7/2015 Meeting

Teacher Advisor: Mr Wong Chee Siang

Lance Corporal Lee Jiieng Joe fall in the members and briefed the members about things that they are going to do for that meeting. NCOs inspected the members’ uniform after singing Anchor Song.

Some members attended Christian Education course led by Pastor Liew Ger Wei. For the members that already have Christian Education badge and those potential committee members, they sat for an exam prepared by form 5 committee members.

At the time, members played three games led by form 3 NCOs.

Lance Corporal Lim Xin Ying announced matters regarding St John Anniversary.

Vesper Song were sang before dismissal.
